Title: Coming This Week: Industrial Shredders, Courgette Gladiators, and White-Glove Inspections
What a week we have lined up on the blog. We kick off the Sunday proceedings with a masterclass in civil engineering, building a Lego and Hot Wheels overpass that rivalled HS2 for sudden budget re-prioritisations and scope changes.
Further down the line, I issue a formal public apology to Salisbury Reds, pay a modest £250 ransom to replace a tyre spiked by a threaded bolt, and survive my first encounter with the gym’s terrifying new StairMaster—an industrial shredder cleverly disguised as cardio equipment.
To round off the week, a local outbreak of the ‘Carnival Bug’ forces some emergency managerial call-ups on the table tennis court, just as our architect books a date to come and inspect the finished house renovation.
