Good morning, and happy Monday!
I hope your week is off to a gentle start. If you are sitting down with your first brew of the day looking for a welcome distraction from the Monday morning email onslaught, you have come to the right place.
It has been a momentous couple of weeks. Between battling a stubborn cold, trying to maintain a shred of productivity, and living in a caravan while the house is turned upside down, I finally decided to launch my new daily blog: The Caravan Chronicles.
If you haven’t had a chance to visit the site yet, the opening entries are officially live. Here is a quick look at what we’ve been navigating from our temporary home on wheels:
- The Launch: How a forced relocation and a major renovation project inspired me to finally trade corporate brevity for daily journaling.
- The Early Days: Finding a rhythm, managing the daily caravan chores, and trying to keep a sense of humour while living on a construction site.
- Fresh Today: Monday’s daily log is also officially live on the site as of 7:00 AM this morning.
Catch up on last week’s journals:
👉 [The Maiden Voyage] – The introductory post detailing exactly why we are living in a caravan, what we hope to achieve, and the goals for this daily writing habit.
👉 [Navigating the Routine] – The reality of managing a business, dealing with the British weather, and stepping into the world of daily blogging.
👉 [Fresh This Morning: Monday’s Log] – Grab a coffee and check out today’s brand-new entry, fresh off the press.
A quick thank you… Thank you to everyone who has already subscribed. It’s been great fun stepping away from corporate report-writing to document the reality of this renovation.
This week on the blog, you’ll see us navigating a massive shift in modern builder culture, surviving a packaging crisis, and hitting some major house milestones.
Have a fantastic week, and see you next Monday!
Mark
