When is the last time you took a risk? How did it work out?

Thank you WordPress for another good question that prompted a few thoughts and then it hit me, my latest project is a HUGE risk.

I should start by saying that I’m not a risk taker in life. I like order, calm and security. However…

We have just moved into a house that needs a lot of renovating. Our previous house was nice, it was how we liked it, life was cozy and comfortable but it wasn’t my forever-home.

We took a risk to move to a house untouched for at least 25 years. A house that has a much larger garden which needs work and tending. The renovation is going to be a big project.

Risking a relaxed lifestyle for upheaval

The rewards for taking this risk are huge. If we get it right, our new home will be a fantastic quiet, peaceful haven to relax amongst nature and in an undisturbed enviroment.
