Having being brought up around dogs, working with dogs and always living with dogs, I’m biased when it comes to answering today’s prompt.
Some of my earliest childhood memories are with our familie’s Cocker Spaniel ‘Suzy’ exploring the garden.
My first own dog was ‘Jing’ a Border Collie Cross I took on from a farmer in Scotland. Jing and I learnt all about dog training – the hard way!
In my twenties I discovered Dog Agility which became my main sport and eventually took over my life! After 30 years of competing around the UK and Europe I was appointed Agility Team GB Manager and led a team of handlers.
So dogs have always been a huge part of my life.
Today, we have three dogs who I love being around. They are intelligent, friendly, loyal and good fun.
What would be the worst pet? I really don’t know because I’m sure my worst pet would be someone’s favorite. However, if I was pushed to name one it would be a Great White Shark. They would take some looking after!
