What is your favorite type of weather?

In the UK we love to talk about the weather, in fact we’re famous for it!

A friend who had lived in Califonia for 25 years, told me that Californian’s often asked him why the British talked about the weather so much. He replied, ‘Because in Britain, we have different weather everyday, here it’s mostly the same’.

So true.

Although the British moan about the weather, I would miss the seasons: the beautiful warm, sunny days make up for the dark, cold, wet days.

We have a saying:

There’s no such thing as bad weather, it’s wrong clothing.

Again, so true.

My favorite type of weather is the long, warm sunny days of summer. However, I enjoy a walk in the rain, providing I’ve got the correct clothes on, and I enjoy winters walk in the frost and snow; with the right clothes.
