Don’t be fooled by that beautiful blue sky, the bright sun casting shadows on the ground and little white fluffy clouds (to quote The Orb) floating in the sky. What you cannot see is the freezing cold North wind making it feel like -3; winter winds are back.
Still, I had a lovely (brisk) walk with the dogs today. Double gloved, bobble hat, scarf, and artic-proof coat keeping the wind out.
After a morning of project work and admin, the fresh air and exercise was welcome. I had a few issues swirling around in my head that needed sorting, so I called on my old adage:
If something needs sorting, walk the dogs.
It worked, I came back with a clear head, lots of notes and feeling refreshed. So many things are resolved on a dog walk, and on a beautiful day like today the cold wind blew all the indecisions right out of my head.
