18 working days before I retire from the job I’ve been doing for the past 30+ years! Not that I’ve been counting down the months and days, but knowing that I’ll be leaving work in a few weeks time is having a conscious effect on me which has triggered the count down.

I’ve been incredibly lucky with my career, although I’ve been a commited, flexible and accommodating towards the business needs, I’ve been fortunate to often be in the right place at the right time to jump on opportunities as they’ve arisen.

As a Project Manager I’ve been involved with some fascinating and challenging projects across many different parts of the business which have all contributed to me having a rewarding and long career.

The world is changing and the business needs to move on, so do I. I have many interests that I want to pursue and now I’ve been given the opportunity to go, I’m taking it and looking forward to whatever the future holds.

The first new project for me is going to be a house move later this month. Our new house needs a lot of work doing to it, so that will be my new main project.
