The process of deciding my 2025 goals and then writing them in a motivational way, is nearly completed. The equally hard part of goal setting is finding a way to remind me to keep focused and a way to track my performance over the year…I may have found a smart way of doing this.
I’ve used various methods to track my performance against my goals in the past. These range from basic spreadsheets, various note taking apps through to pen & paper. I’m currently trying an app called ‘Goals Wizard‘. Initially, I found it complicated and hungry for data, however it’s starting to make sense and has some cool features that would help with tracking my performance over the year too. I’m going to perserve with the free version for as long as I can.
My 2025 goals fall under the following categories:
- Personal growth;
- Hobbies & interests;
- Family, friends & loved ones;
- Health, fitness and wellbeing;
- Career.
I aim to have no more than three goals in each category with each one taking me closer to a longer term objective / support my personal manifesto (a future post) / my values / my beliefs.
My plan is to have this process finished and ready to start in early January.
