I’ve been getting on well with my latest task management app Todoist. Given my history of trying apps it will be no surprise to learn that I’ve tried this app before, the difference this time is that I’m moving to cross-platform apps and software and Todoist ticks all the boxes for me.

Moving to cross-platform apps has been refreshing and energised me to start goal setting for next year, sorting out my files and generally getting to grips on all my tech. This may sound trivial and procastinating – which would be partly correct – but tech is a big thing whether we like it or not, we live in a digital world.

I guess my attraction to exploring and using tech follows with how I naturally am, I don’t stand still, I like to move on try new things, explore opportunities and learn. Tech is similar, never stands still.

Talking about standing still, October was a terrible month for injures to friends and family who were not standing still. Two friends damaged their legs playing sports, my wife Karen rolled her ankle badly while we were dog walking, and my nephew fell badly at the climbing centre and has serious – potential life changing injuries – to his leg.

What is it about October?

Enjoy your lives, be active, but be careful too.
